John Durishan is a an associate attorney, representing government and private sector employees in all areas of employment law, including discrimination claims relating to age, race, gender and sexual harassment. He has experience representing clients before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), Office of Federal Operations (OFO), Merit System Protection Board (MSPB), and Office of Personnel Management (OPM).

Prior to joining Melville Johnson, P.C., John worked for the state of New York, were he helped create internal policies and procedures for equal employment and managed internal discrimination/harassment complaints.
John received his Juris Doctorate degree from Albany Law School and is licensed to practice in New York State. During his time in law school, John interned at Albany Law School’s award winning clinic, representing low-income clients in unemployment hearings and interned for the Third Judicial District Town and Village Courts.
