Mr. Persily is an of-counsel attorney with Kitchens, New &

Cleghorn, LLC. A member of the Georgia Bar, Mr. Persily worked at the Atlanta law firm of Sutherland, Asbill & Brennan before starting his own practice, Persily & Associates, P.C, which he ran for 8 years. Mr. Persily merged his practice with Kitchens New Cleghorn, LLC in May 2008, allowing him to spend more time with Penn Multimedia, where he serves as President & CEO.

Mr. Persily is a cum laude graduate of Harvard Law School. While at Harvard, Mr. Persily served as Publisher of the Harvard Law Record and President of the Lambda Law Association. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Duke University, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a degree in Religion.

A proud father of two along with his partner, Nathan Woodard-Persily, Seth is an active member of the Atlanta community. He is a graduate of L.E.A.D. Atlanta, and was appointed by Mayor Shirley Franklin to sit on the City of Atlanta's Civil Service Commission. Mr. Persily sat on the Board of Directors for both YouthPride and Georgia Equality, and served as co-Chair of the Atlanta Leadership Council for the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation. He also wrote a book, Arguing Equality, which has been published online at http://www.arguingequality.org.
